July 23rd - Red Devil Lounge show
We've always had great shows at San Francisco's Red Devil Lounge, so don't miss our headlining slot there next week on Thursday July 31st. Also on the bill are Cervantes, Touch Committee and Solar Powered People.
June 11th - NEW DRUMMER and a new show
We're extremely excited to welcome drummer Bill Shupp to the band. Bill has a huge amount of experience as a session drummer in LA, working with artists like TRL fave Ashley Parker Angel, 311 frontman Nick Hexum and Irish songstress Gemma Hayes. Bill will be playing his first show with Heathrow on Saturday June 28th at the Rockit Room.
February 25th - Featured video and a new show
Top entertainment site Alternative Reel has featured a video of Heathrow playing Pink Floyd's "Time" as their video of the week! The site is a major destination for people looking for cutting-edge content with an alternative slant. It has also just been announced that Heathrow will be opening for one of LA's most buzz-worthy artists, Curtis Peoples, at the Rockit Room on Friday March 7th.
February 1st - Mick's Farewell Show
It's with great sadness that we have to announce that our mercurial Australian drummer Mike Rich is leaving the band to pursue new opportunities outside the Bay Area. Although we'll miss his drumming, it's his friendship that will be the biggest loss. We wish him nothing but the greatest success and happiness.

We're hoping that all of Heathrow's fans can join us for one final show with Mike, as we headline at the Red Devil Lounge on Friday February 15th. Also on the bill will be our good friends MiGGs and Smith Point. Let's send Mike off in style!
October 26th - Documentary
Check out out our bio page to see a 5-minute documentary video about the band. Produced by Kevin Gonzales of 12 Point Productions it features interviews, live footage and a behind the scenes look at the band.
October 25th - Headline show in November
We just got the great news that we'll be doing a headlining show on Friday November 16th at the Rockit Room on Clement Street in San Francisco! Joining us on the bill is the tremendous Tokyo Decadence. Stay tuned for more info about set times, cover charges and the ubiquitous Heathrow Show Gimmick.
August 15th - International Pop Overthrow
Join us this Saturday evening at the Rockit Room in San Francisco. We'll be playing as part of the International Pop Overthrow festival. Our "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" 25-minute set is scheduled for 11:30.

A lot of people have asked how to enter the YouTube contest, so here's the info:

January 21st - First Show of 2007
Although things have seemed quiet lately, we've actually been working hard on new material, booking shows and planning for 2007. Our first show this year will be a headlining slot at The Rockit Room, in San Francisco's Richmond District. Joining us on the bill is another fantastic local band, The Hundred Days. Their debut album, released last year, was produced by Jeff Saltzman, who produces The Killers. This will be a "You Shoot For YouTube" show - shoot some video of our show, put it on YouTube, and whoever gets the most hits in the following two weeks will win a fabulous prize!
October 3rd - Back in the Pink!
We've made into the SF Chronicle's pink pages again, this time with a preview of our Make Out Room show and a mention of the iPod Contest. Check out the online version of the article here.
October 1st - The Great iPod Contest
Anyone on the Heathrow mailing list will know all about our Cover Song Contest. Submit an idea for a cover song for us to play at our next show (see the Shows page) and you could win an iPod Shuffle if we pick your choice. We've already had some great suggestions, and the winner will be announced next week. Shoot us an email!
July 25th - Back at ya
After some great shows in the first half of the year, we decided it was time to back into our hidey-hole and write some new songs. We also figured out how to destroy the recording industry in one fell swoop, and even booked a new show in San Francisco. So we're hoping you'll join us for a special industry showcase at Cafe du Nord on August 16th, as we preview a whole bunch of new material! More info on the Shows page.
April 26th - More Slims!
Anyone who was at our SOLD OUT Slim's show knows what a huge night it was, so much so that we're coming back for another go. This time we're sharing the stage with our old friends MiGGs and the FANTASTIC American Drag. We've been looking forward to playing with AD for a long time, and no better place to do it than at Slim's. Advance tickets are available at Virtuous.
April 6th - Podcasts
We're pleased to say that we've been featured on not just one, but two podcasts on the new Tower Records podcasting site, Towerpod.com. First off check out Mo's Planet Check Rocks Episode 1 where she spins some Heathrow tunes. Then for a full interview as well as some tunes, take a listen to Misha's Belly of the Bay Episode 3.
March 6th - Slims!
It's taken some work, but we've finally been asked to play legendary SF rock venue Slims. If you'd like to go, it's IMPERATIVE you buy the tickets either from the Heathrow Store or directly from the band. If you pay on the door, all that money goes to the promoter, none to the bands. Don't blame us, we don't make the rules, we just pretend to play by them. This will undoubtedly be the biggest Heathrow show yet, so we'd love to see all our friends there!
January 23rd, 2006 - Party bus for Sweetwater show
Anyone wishing to hop on the party bus from San Francisco to our show at Sweetwater in Mill Valley should head to the Store, where you can purchase your spot on the bus. Spaces are VERY limited, since fans of MiGGs and Essence will be coming too! Also, we've been mentioned in the SF Chronicle again and so have you, our fans who have been known to "tie one on"!!!
